How MagicInk™ Works with MagicPowder™ and MagicBond™
- Print your design onto DTF film using MagicInk™. It forms a clean, stable surface ready to accept powder.
- Powder the print using MagicPowder™-choose Black or CLEAR depending on your desired finish. Tap off the excess.
- Cure according to your equipment guidelines until the powder gels and bonds to the ink layer.
- Press the transfer onto your garment using standard DTF heat-press settings.
- Peel as recommended for your chosen DTF film.
- Apply MagicBond (optional, required for foil) - Lightly coat the printed area with MagicBond™ to create the proper adhesive surface for foil.
- Add Foil - Place MagicFoil™ over the bonded design and press to achieve metallic, colored, reflective, or specialty effects. Use MagicPowder™ CLEAR when the color or finish will come from the foil layer.
*If your desired color is not available as a MagicPowder™ option, use MagicPowder™ CLEAR and finish with your chosen MagicFoil™. MagicFoil™ offers a growing range of metallic, mirror, reflective, and specialty finishes. MagicBond™ is required for all foil applications.
